She’s getting ready for the important job of Seat Warmer which should be available by September 12th. I think she’s also checking those toys for safety and durability. What a cat!

Fluffy Friday: Ricky Minus Some Ears
Poor Ricky! He kept getting infections on his ears (I think it was something hereditary) and he had to have one ear cropped, then a few years later they had to do the other. He is fine now, and he is one big, fluffy boy with quite a bit of “catitude”.

Fluffy Friday: The One-Eyed Cat
This is a cat who lives in our neighborhood. I have no idea who owns this cat, but it’s been wandering around our house for the year-and-a-half that we’ve been living here. At first, one eye was completely swollen shut but it has since healed and is not as bad. He or she will not let us come at all close.

Fluffy Friday: Sumari is Hot Stuff
Poor little baby, she was so hot that all she could do was stretch out in front of the fan!
Well at least I finally got a good photo of her and her adorable little fluffy tummy:
Sometimes we refer to Sumari as “the perfect cat” because she is still the size of a kitten, never gets into trouble or barfs or destroys anything, eats very little and is incredibly cute and lovable. This doesn’t mean we think any less of the other cats, we love them all and they are “perfect” in their own ways.

Fluffy Friday: Fluffy Babies!!
Groundhog babies, that is! Of course she needed to eat all the broccoli (and LETTUCE) in my garden, she had little mouths to feed! 
She actually has four babies, but the fourth one is very shy.
Bella is trying to figure out what these little fluff-balls are! (she did not try to go after any of them)

The cats and mama and her babies get along quite well, occasionally they’ll even play together…wish I could get a video of that!

Fluffy Friday: Vacuuming Mango’s Fluff
A few days ago I was sewing, and Mango fell fast asleep to the sound of the sewing machine. He was in such a deep sleep that he never even noticed that I stopped sewing to vacuum up the mess from cutting the fabric. So…I tried vacuuming him a bit, it’s easier than brushing him (he bites) and doesn’t make a mess. I used to vacuum my dog and he loved it, but cats tend to freak out. Here is Mango getting a new furdo with the aid of the vacuum:
