Yes, she’s made herself right at home.  And she’s already in love with us.  And of course we’re already in love with her.  That took about 30 seconds.

So what do we do now??  She’s obviously well-taken care of and has a home, someplace.  But she’s been hanging around for the past couple of weeks and was found yesterday by The Wicked Witch of the East, who clearly was not happy to find a kitty in her dungeon…uh , I mean cellar.  So of course my son brought her in and fed her.  That’s what we do.

She even has a name, “Happy Kitty”.  No, I did not name her, this all occurred even before I got home.

This morning I let her out and encouraged her to go back to her own home.

Guess what? She’s back…

*sigh*…:???:

My human has a saying, “A cat knows a sucker when it sees one.”

She could be lost - or she could be one of the victims of the bad economy, left to fend on her own when her humans were forced to move. She looks very cute - I hope she has a home somewhere!

    Maybe it’s a sign… :) Animals have a way of picking people.

You have to keep the kitty! It’s fate. It’s destiny…

I think she likes it with you a lot better than wherever she was. You’re doomed, you know that? lol

It is said, that cats choose their homes :)

 Don’t we as humans deal with all of these same risks? Does this mean that none of us should leave our house? I do believe that if you are going to allow your cat to be outside that you make sure it has all of the necessary vaccines, is spayed or neutered, and is regularly checked for ticks and fleas, just as we do for ourselves. But just as we do for our children and ourselves, it is important to allow your cat to be a cat - to hunt, explore, and play outside.
